Leacroft Nurseries is Wellington’s largest wholesale/retail production nursery open to the public, conveniently located 30 minutes north of Wellington 15 minutes west of The Hutt Valley and 25 minutes south of the Kapiti Coast.

Established in 1995, we are a family owned and operated business with a proven track record for producing quality, competitively priced plants.

All our plants are propagated and/or grown on at the nursery. Our maritime climate, typical of Wellington, and frosty winters mean that our plants are well hardened off at time of sale.

At Leacroft, we grow nearly 800 varieties of Native & Exotic trees, shrubs and perennials. The nursery is well laid out, with 1 acre of selling area. If the informative labels aren’t enough, our professional and friendly staff (who’ve actually grown the plants) will be pleased to help.

We are open 7 days, 9am-5pm
